DIY : Homemade Face Wash

Now a day I've been a fan of the Oil cleansing method. But it’s also true that I am always looking for something new. Last week I tried a new face wash, made with natural ingredients.
What I like about my face wash

  • It’s very frugal!
  • It’s very quick and easy to use.
  • It removes makeup. The olive oil naturally removes makeup, and you won’t have to buy expensive makeup remover anymore!
  • Traditional cleansers and face washes are formulated to strip skin of its natural oils, leaving your face tight and dry but it leaves my skin feeling clean, soft and moisturize too.
  • It only takes a few minutes to make
Ingredients
  1.  1/2 cup live oil. you could use another oil or even coconut oil. Coconut oil would make more of a cleansing cream consistency.
  2. 2 tablespoons Glycerin. Glycerin suited for all skin types including oily skin. This is useful to treat many skin problems such as acne, skin infections, wrinkles and fine lines. Glycerin can give you moisturized and cleansed skin without any side effects.
  3. 4 teaspoons Liquid face wash or baby body wash. you can use any liquid soap or face wash that works for your skin.
  4. Any essential oil  (according to your skin), here I used tree tea essential Oil. If you don’t have them, or prefer not to use them, just leave them out. I used tree tea  oil mainly for pimple and good smell.
  5. 5 tablespoons Rose Water which help to dilute the face wash with other ingredients and  this is the best cleanser and it can be used by all skin types. It helps to remove any makeup or dirt residue from your face and will also nourish your skin deeply.
Lastly you need a clean, empty pump bottle.

Instructions
  • Pour ingredients into a food processor or blender EXCEPT essential oil.  Mix until thickened, smooth and creamy.
  • Carefully pour it in your pump bottle. You can pump out as much product as needed. (I don't had pump bottle so used flip-open cap bottle).
  • Now add few drops of essential oil.
  • Store any extra face wash in another empty bottle.
  • It keeps for up to a month.
TO USE:

I use this Face Wash at night before bed. Pump a quarter-size amount of cleanser into your hand. Gently massage into your neck area, face, eyelids and eyelashes for about one minute.  Remove with a warm wash cloth.  Rinse wash cloth in warm water and gently remove any remaining dirt or makeup off your face.

That’s it. Super easy!
